  Notes Cookie is a talented sewist who has done beautiful work in many areas of fiber arts. Recently she decided to make garment sewing her principal focus. We are thrilled with her progress in working with wonderful fabric, altering patterns, and learning techniques such as how to do an FBA. And then there’s her affinity for flat piping! Here she wears a vibrant cotton/lycra stretch-woven sateen digital print, piped with a 100% cotton plaid accenting the neckline and waistline. The great hot colors in a tropical hibiscus motif help to make this perfectly fitted sundress with its flared panel skirt truly beautiful. We just love this result.
