  Notes Years ago, Lois approached me to see if she and her sewing friends from the Boston area could come for three consecutive days to launch their winter coats and explore new territory with pad-stitching, bound buttonholes, flat piping and all those delicious details that tailoring affords. That was the start of Sewing Camp at AAF. Here is a recent creation Lois made: a semi-fitted, unlined, draped collar coat in a fashion-forward animal print where the reverse side shows. A perfect marriage of fabric to pattern! Her raw front edges along with her hem edges are serged with Maxi-Lock Stretch in the loopers which produced a nice finish. What a great look!
