  Notes It was love at first sight when this whimsical silk fish print from Nanette Lepore arrived at AAF. I created a skirt from this beautiful 100% silk crepe using Vogue #2745, a dress pattern that I morphed into a skirt and lined with an ivory silk georgette. With its shaped hem begging for a narrow serged edge, I engaged my trusty old Elna Pro5DC threading it with Maxi-Lock Stretch in my upper looper and creating a floaty lettuce-edged hem. The horizontal fine-line striped top is made from a ponte knit and takes this ensemble to a new level with a mixed print look! Burdastyle #117 from 10/12 is the pattern used for the top.
