  Notes Hard to believe that it was time for my 50th high school reunion but it was and I wanted something special to show that I wasn't quite ready for the retirement home. I discovered this dress pattern, Burda 6867, in the bridal section but not for one minute did I think that would limit its possibilities. For its exciting seam lines, I added a contrast piping: a knit made from a rayon/lycra blend. The obliquely attached, asymmetric, wrapped skirt with folds, elegant narrow 3/4 sleeve, and waterfall neckline are all very attractive features. The hems were finished with twin needle stitching. The zipper was unnecessary and I removed it.
